10th week

Salam and hi to everyone.

This week ,On Foziah has given special task for us regarding the Audio Editing.

Here are the tasks:

· Cut the chorus part of any song to make it a ringtone.

· Remix two songs together.

· Edit the song “Dua Insan” by M. Nasir and Siti Nurhaliza.

Even though the tasks looked easy but it is not. The most difficult is the 3^rd task since many things need to be done to produce high quality audio. However, I still try my hardest to do so. As we finished the task, our lecturer gave her feedback of our works. Some of us have to redo the tasks since our lecturer was not satisfied with our work. But, I take it as another way to strengthen our audio editing skill by giving the more challenged tasks.

9th week then....

Hi,everyone. This is the entry for week 9.

This week we got the thickest module, MODULE 2 on photo editing. Firstly, I can’t believe the thickness of the module but reality is the reality.

As I see through the module, there is no wonder the module was thick because many software used to edit the photos especially to prepare the teaching aids.

Seriously, it is tiring to finish this module but at the same time it is fun as I can explore to edit the photo using different type of software. Individually, I think photo editing skill is important for the teacher to learn since most the pupils are attracted with the colourful pictures. Thus, the teachers need to consider it while preparing their teaching aids. Besides that, the teachers also can use this skill to make their own pictures that suit their topic and their learning outcomes as well as to trigger the pupils’ creative and critical thinking.

Hello again….

We were meeting again in my 8^th entry for this course.

Firstly, today we had received our third module on audio editing. Many things I learned to edit audio especially using Audacity software. Seriously, this module is simple yet important and useful. I learned to change the pitch of the audios, to cut and combine two or more audios as well as upgrading the quality of the audio. Honestly, this software is useful especially for preparing teaching aids for listening lessons. Sometimes, the recording for listening lesson is not clear, but using this software those problem can be solved. Besides that, other software also introduced in this module such as Karaoke anything, sony vegas, and many more. As usual, all the software were useful as it can capture the pupils’ attention and engage them more in the learning process.

7th week

Hi and hello to everyone…

Basically this week, we were still working on our First Module. While we were focusing on completing the module, our lecturer reminded us to print the module gradually since we have another four modules waiting for us. Besides she also reminded us to do extra tutorials if we want to have “extra marks”. For me, the module given to us was already perfect. Most of internet skills and computing skills included in the module.

Week 6 already?

Hello guys!!

I know it’s been 6^th week already.

This week post was about our 1^st module. But before that, my pair and I ALREADY submitted the tasks for the previous lesson .It was relieve for me and my pair since it was our first attempt.

Get back to the 1^st module; I was startled to see the thickness of the module. I started to think the contents of it. As we got the module, Pn. Foziah asked us to do the tutorials in the modules at that moment. As I see the modules, I got the theme or specific skill that we will gain was the basic skill of using internet and computing. For me, it looked like the usual skill but I gain many new experiences especially in discovering new software that useful for teachers to develop resources for their teaching.

5th week

Salam and hello to the readers~~

How’s your day??

Let’s get back to our business. This is the 5th entry for Resources Subject.
As what I predicted on the previous entry, we will be getting the new task for this subject. And the answer is YES! My prediction was correct. Our tasks were to find as many as possible teaching aids using for ELT classroom and prepare the lesson plan as well. However, we are required to choose the topics from KBSR syllabus. Moreover, we also worked in pairs and groups of four with the condition mixed gender and races. For me, It was not a bug problem since we already known each other for 4 years.

For the pair task, I’m working with Hanif with the topic: let’s us put it together, Food I like and Beautiful Malaysia. Many teaching aids we can get however not all it based on technology.By doing this task, I realized that teachings aids really assist the teacher in pupils’ learning process.
